Cookie statement
In short: DuduM Esthetica sets no cookies of its own and does not track you. That is why you see no cookie banner on this site. Below you can read exactly what happens on each part of the website.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your computer, tablet or phone. They allow a site to recognise you on a later visit, for example, or to follow your browsing behaviour.
The same rules apply to similar techniques, such as data in your browser’s local storage, tracking pixels and recognising your device by its technical characteristics (fingerprinting). Where this statement says “cookies”, it includes those techniques.
Which cookies does this website use?
This website has deliberately been built without cookies. We use:
- no cookies of our own, not even functional ones;
- no analytical cookies or statistics software, such as Google Analytics;
- no advertising or tracking cookies and no pixels from Meta, Google, TikTok or others;
- no local storage in your browser and no fingerprinting.
Fonts and videos are hosted on our own server, so nothing is retrieved from services such as Google Fonts or YouTube either.

The Salonized booking frame
Online booking runs through Salonized, a Dutch provider that manages the appointment calendar on our behalf. The booking frame on our appointment page comes directly from Salonized.
Within that frame, Salonized may use cookies or similar techniques that are strictly necessary to make booking work, for example to remember your chosen treatment and time while you book. No consent is required for such functional cookies.
If your browser blocks cookies from other websites, the booking frame may work less well. You can always book by phone, WhatsApp or email instead.

Why you see no cookie banner
Under the Dutch Telecommunications Act (article 11.7a), a website must ask for consent before placing cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics, tracking and advertising cookies. Cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for do not require consent, but you must be informed about them. That is what this statement does.
Because we place no non-essential cookies, a cookie banner is not needed. Should we ever start doing so, we will ask for your consent first and update this statement.
Managing or deleting cookies
You decide which cookies are stored on your device. In your browser settings you can view, delete and block cookies. These settings are usually found under “Privacy and security”:

This website keeps working if you block all cookies. Only the online booking frame may then work in a limited way.
